About Us

Formed in the 1990's in order to protect the Beaver Island Stone Circle, the group continues to work to understand and protect the many cultural sites of stone circles, mounds and burial sites found in the Islands.  We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization formed for scientific and educational purposes.

Are you interested about what we' are doing?  We are always looking for volunteers to help us find, document and protect our cultural sites.  There is so much to research and understand about "Those Who Came Before" .  Contact us if you are interested in field work, research or just want to know more.  Be sure to visit the Amik Cultural Preservation Center when you are on the Island!
